Cape Town plays host to Africa’s first ever comprehensive bar show this November, MUDL Live. There will be a number of exciting zones to look forward to. Visitors will be invited to explore a wide array of spirits and cocktails, as well as beers, ciders and other drinks expressions. MUDL Live will also host the very first RumFest to be held outside the UK.
Launched by Global Rum Ambassador Ian Burrell, the UK RumFest has become the biggest gathering of rum lovers in the world. With all this, as well as live music, comedy acts and other entertainment on offer, the MUDL Live Exhibition is an event that neither consumers nor members of the trade will want to miss.
MUDL Live will take place from 27-29 November at The Cape Town International Convention Centre, with tickets priced at R150 from Computicket (or R170 if purchased at the door).
WHAT: MUDL Live – Liquor and Lifestyle Exhibition
WHEN: 27-29 November 2014
WHERE: Cape Town International Convention Centre
MUDL Live 2014 is set to become the first exhibition of its kind in the country – a forum in which the drinks world comes together to show South Africa what they’ve got.
The MUDL Live Liquid Lifestyle showcase will take place over three days at one of South Africa’s premier exhibition venues, The Cape Town International Convention Centre. Upwards of 10,000 people will get the chance to taste, touch and experience some of the most interesting spirits brands the world has to offer.
There will be a number of exciting zones in which visitors can sip, savour and buy premium products, some of which have never before been available in South Africa. For the first time, top quality brands from all the major spirit categories, as well as wine and beer, will come together under one roof for consumers to discover and enjoy.
There will also be a strong trade element to MUDL Live. Local business owners, brand custodians and venue managers will be able to network with prospective customers and suppliers alike. They will also be able to attend seminars and Master Classes on various topics ranging from increasing profitability through to menu development and brand education.
MUDL Live is also proving an attractive proposition for members of the international liquor industry. South Africa is widely regarded as the gateway to Africa for imported brands. The country’s sound infrastructure and banking system makes it a perfect launch pad into what is undoubtedly the new frontier market, and MUDL Live is the place to do it.
If you are in any way linked to the liquor industry or are a member of the public with appetite for quality brands, get down to MUDL Live at the CTICC this November and immerse yourself in Liquid Lifestyle.
Tickets now available at R150 from Computicket.
