Another Blogger interview and it’s about shoes. Now that is a secret to me, I am the typical guy with 6 pairs of shoes and buying shoes is a pain for me. Well, guess this blog is more for our female readers 😉

Say hello to Karen and her blog www.dailyshoe.co.za

Can you tell us a little about yourself?
The Daily Shoe started in 2011 as an experimental “hobby”, a tiny part of the business I was focused on at the time.

I’m a personal shopper & stylist, and I noticed that much as my clients generally hated to shop for clothes for themselves, the one thing they all had in common was a love for shoes. I thought it might be fun to offer a shoe by email every day to my clients, a handful of them agreed, and I started sending them pictures of lovely shoes. Can you tell us a little more about yourself?

I’m currently finishing my 3rd year in Hospitality Management at the Granger bay Hotel School. Grew up with a dad who’s a viticulturist, so food and wine has always been a massive influence in my life. Was ready to study law – got cold feet and fled to the South of France to work as a Commis in a kitchen and fell in love with the industry. I haven’t looked back – yet.

How you first got involved in with blogging?
I got home after a 6-month internship at the Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland. I had over a month of time to kill before class resumed, and I was itching to write and share all of the thoughts in my head. Thus Deepfriedbananas (a dessert my best friend and I ate in Scotland way too much of) was born! Read more Cape Town Blogger | Interview | Gabrielle Le Roux

My name is Melanie Chisnall and I’m a full time freelance blogger and writer from Somerset West. I believe in creating moments that make life worth living, and trying to make a positive difference in the world – even if it’s only a small one.

I’m a firm believer in going for your dreams and taking risks. I’m an animal lover, I’m a sushi and brownie fanatic, I’m crazy about my husband, and I have a tendency to kill plants.
