Doing our staycation in Cape Town we decided to do a day trip to Ceres and Citrusday.
To get some more info about the area and some tips we used a new Ipad app that we have recently downloaded and we where pretty impressed by it.
It is called go! Travel South Africa for Ipad and works very well on the ipad. Basically it uses the build-in GPS and adds data via 3G.
They have mapped 25 000+ points of interest, including landmarks, nature reserves, restaurants, accommodation options ranging from campsites to hotels, great drives, hiking trails, wine estates, tourist information, shops, services…
So pretty much every bit of information one would need once on the road.
The go! Travel South Africa for Ipad software has some be-build trips and you can add more trips and map packs.
The basic app is free.
We would it easy to use and as it always tells you exactly where you are it was easy to get more info about the area.
If you have an ipad and would like to travel around with good info available on your fingertips you should try go! Travel South Africa for Ipad.
You can download go! Travel South Africa for ipad it here.
By the way our day trip to Ceres, Prince Alfred Hamlet and Citrusdal was fun. Will upload some images with the next blog post.
