Nature trails in South Tyrol

On a section of the Merano Mountain Trail we walk through the Pfossental valley, which is surrounded by high mountain peaks. Along the way we enjoy great views and learn a lot about the production of spicy alpine cheese and about nature.

The path allows you to get to know the landscape and cultural features of the area around Proves in Val d'Ultimo on the border between South Tyrol and Trentino. Not only different languages and cultures but also different architectural structures, different woods, different types of rocks, naturalistic and geological contrasts.

Im Gadertal liegt der schöne Ort Campill mit den Weilern Misci und Seres. Hier kann man eine schöne Mühlenwanderung machen.

Which tracks belong to which animals? How far does a hare jump? And how heavy are deer antlers? We will find the answers to these and even more questions at 13 exciting adventure stations.

We follow in the footsteps of the prehistoric reptiles, who even left footprints here! I wonder what it looked like on earth back then?

Mit der Seilbahn fährt man bequem auf 1342 Meter. Von der Station geht es auf den Wanderweg 27a in Richtung Eggerhöfe. Nach 5 Minuten kommt die Abzweigung zum Walderlebnispfad in Sicht.  Hier kann man auf Schautafeln und an Erlebnisstationen vieles über den Lebensraum Wald lernen. Die Strecke ist für die ganze Familie geeignet und kinderwagentauglich. Endpunkt ist wieder die Seilbahn-Station.
