The Mittenwalder Höhenweg via ferrata (A/B) could be better described as a secured high-altitude trail. It leads from the Karwendel cable car to the Brunnsteinhütte in a magnificent Karwendel setting and then back down into the valley.

On the western foothills of the Karwendel, high above the Olympiaregion Seefeld, a rewarding iron path was built directly to the summit of the Seefelder Spitze. Quick to reach - from the terminus of the funicular railway - the steel cable runs along longer vertical passages in the area of the western ridge up to the 2221 metre high summit cross.

Attractive via ferrata with a picturesque end point at the pilgrimage church of St. Magdalena (with snack station!). Great views of the Habicht and the Gschnitz mountains give the tour an alpine touch.

This easy, beautiful via ferrata in Dolomite-like surroundings is also suitable for via ferrata beginners. The route leads to the panoramic summit of the Steingrubenkogel via ledges and short ascents.

The ascent to the Hohe Munde via the west ridge is significantly longer and more challenging than the normal route over the east ridge via the Rauthütte. Between the pre-summit and the west summit, a south-facing basin is climbed steeply via a via ferrata (B).
