Via ferratas in the Karwendel region

The Mittenwalder Höhenweg via ferrata (A/B) could be better described as a secured high-altitude trail. It leads from the Karwendel cable car to the Brunnsteinhütte in a magnificent Karwendel setting and then back down into the valley.

(Two-)day tour from the Eng via the Lamsenjochhütte (1953 m) to the Lamsenspitze

On the western foothills of the Karwendel, high above the Olympiaregion Seefeld, a rewarding iron path was built directly to the summit of the Seefelder Spitze. Quick to reach - from the terminus of the funicular railway - the steel cable runs along longer vertical passages in the area of the western ridge up to the 2221 metre high summit cross.

The Lamsenspitze is a great Karwendel tour in itself, which you should definitely have undertaken once if you have the right experience.

The magnificent Lamsenspitze is a "must" for every experienced mountaineer who spends the night at the Lamsenjochhütte.
