The Pößnecker via ferrata is a classic among the via ferrata routes in the Dolomites. This difficult via ferrata through the vertical rock was built back in 1912. The previously unsecured sections of the via ferrata have since been made safer after the airy chimney was also secured. The second section of the via ferrata is easy throughout, allowing you to enjoy the surrounding mountain scenery. The hike across the extensive Sella plateau is impressive. Even the descent into the valley between the mighty Dolomite walls through Val Lastiés is an experience.

For parents with solid via ferrata experience, this tour can be a great experience together with the children (children should be on the rope from the start to the summit!).
