Long distance ski tours in the Valais Alps

A very sporty, shorter and rewarding variant of the Haute Route. If you are in good shape but only have a short time, this is the route for you.

Stage 3 is the most demanding tour in terms of fitness, but also one of the most beautiful stages of the Haute Route. Three breathtaking passes are crossed on the way to Zermatt.

The 2nd stage of the Haute Route - 3-day version! is not without its challenges. You need very good stamina for the tour, which is over 20 kilometres long.

Stage 1 of the Haute Route - 3-day version! starts in Bourg-Saint-Pierre. Through a small, very beautiful valley you reach the Valsorey hut, the finish of stage 1.

The classic ski crossing from Chamonix to Zermatt has long attracted an international audience. The Haute Route, which takes at least five days, is one of the tours that ambitious ski tourers should have done at least once.

From Chamonix (Argentière) to Zermatt. You can also extend to Saas Fee. A tour of superlatives, famous peaks, huge glaciers, impressive panoramas and descents that are second to none. Here is the route and the conditions we encountered at the beginning of April 2023.
