Horse rides in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté

This trail is a horse riding route walked and created by two riders with their horses. Route overview: Freiburg - Vachères en Quint - Pyrenees - Llandes - short detour to Spain- Contis, France.

The small Revermont mountain range and its hiking trails lined with low stone walls will introduce you to typical villages, which have preserved many winegrowers' houses carved from local stone.

You'll pass at the foot of the emblematic Jura mountain range. It is the easternmost, narrowest and highest range of the whole massif. The area is rich in flora and fauna.

Hiking in the Jura mountains means discovering forests, waterfalls, marshes, rivers, lakes, plateaus and majestic peaks, a green and contrasting nature with disarming charms...

120 km à faire, à cheval, à pied ou en VTT par les chemins de l'histoire. Cet itinéraire part de Bibracte pour rejoindre Alésia sur les pas de Vercingétorix.

Traversée du bourg de Dompierre, vous pourrez admirer l’église récemment ravalée puis vous descendrez sur la gare, ancienne voie ferrée puis sur l’arborétum de Pézanin. Après avoir longé l’étang où la pêche est pratiquée en « no kill » (poisson remis à l’eau), vous remonterez sur le hameau de Frouges (château, fromages de chèvres), puis par Bois du Lin.

Based on existing equestrian itineraries in the Ain and Jura departments, the Grande Traversée du Jura à Cheval extends the route into the Doubs. The whole of the GTJ equestrian itinerary is based on relay stages with accommodation to welcome riders and their mounts.

Entre histoire locale et patrimoine naturel, ce parcours vous conduira de sous-bois en bord de Loire ; ainsi vous pourrez cueillir du muguet au printemps et admirer le bord de Loire au fil des saisons.

Randonnée assez physique au niveau des dénivelés mais très agréable car beaucoup de points de vue magnifiques dont le passage à la chapelle du Banquet.
