Islay of Skye is a popular destination for hikers and mountaineers. The Skye Trail is a 5-7 day, absolutely magnificent tour through the Scottish Highlands. The route follows the Trotternish Ridge, past the Quiraing and the coastal cliffs on the Islay of Skye. A medium, beautiful, scenic and mostly foggy hike awaits you in Islay of Skye. I thought the tour was marvellous. Chapeau!

Simply the most beautiful hill walk I’ve done in the UK. Starting from the town of Aberfeldy, you follow the stream through the birch trees up to the top of the waterfall and back down the other side.

Isolated by massive basalt cliffs, the Rubha Hunish peninsula seems to be out of reach for hikers. Fortunately, there is a passage in the rock face, which makes it possible to reach this fantastic place on a narrow and steep path.

Day 10: Stages 13 and 14 - the longest tour on the WHW, from Kinlochleven up into the high valley of Lairigmor to Loch Lunn da Bhra and along a path towards Ben Nevis. From there to Fort William and the finish of the WHW.

Day 9: Stage 12 - From the Kingshouse Hotel we head towards Glen Coe and up the Devil's Staircase with beautiful views of Stob Dearg. The route continues downhill towards Kinlochleven.

Day 8: Stages 10 and 11 - From the Inveroran Hotel, you pass the Forrest Lodge and enter Rannoch Moor. Passing moorland on the right and high Munors on the left, the route continues for 11 kilometres through the moor. Pass Blackrock Cottage and continue to the Kingshouse Hotel with views of Stob Dearg.

Day 7: Stages 9 and 10 - From Tyndrum we pass Beinn Odhar to Auch and then Beinn Dorain to Bridge of Orchy. We cross the River Orchy and climb Mam Carraigh. From there we descend to Inveroran Hotel with a beautiful view of Loch Tulla.
