From Birgsau to the Alpgundkopf and after a short intermezzo into the Warmatsgundtal up to the Fiderepass. From there over enjoyable, sometimes steep slopes to Mittelberg in the Kleines Walsertal.

Round tour from Rettenbach via the Mühlgrabenweg to Schopf. Return via Kostenz and circular route 9.

This crossing of the Wank is possible all year round. In winter, there are times when the mountain railway is not in operation, when the tour is particularly rewarding, as there are significantly fewer people on the extremely popular Wank.
