Not far from Ax-les-Thermes, in the direction of the Col de Pailhères, here is a beautiful hike to discover the Pic de Tarbésou and to enjoy magnificent panoramas on the Black and Blue ponds as well as those of Rabassoles and Bauzeille. Excellent route in the heart of the Ariege Pyrenees!

Surely one of the most beautiful hikes to do in the Ariege Pyrenees. The Etang Bleu looks like the lake of Montagnon ;)
