Linderhof Palace
Linderhof Palace is the smallest of Ludwig II's three castles and the only one that was completed during his lifetime. Linderhof is considered the fairytale king's favorite castle, where he stayed by far the most often. The gardens in front of the palace are particularly magnificent.
Sightseeing: You can see the rooms on the upper and lower floors of the palace building, as well as the palace park and the Venus Grotto.
Guided tours: Guided tours in German and English take place continuously. The duration of a guided tour is about 25 minutes. Special tours can also be organized on request.
How to get there: Take the A95 motorway and the B2 federal road to Oberau. Follow the signs to the B23/Ettaler Straße in the direction of Ettal. After Ettal, turn left onto the ST2060 state road. In Linderhof, turn right to the castle.
