Water rats can expect unexpectedly wonderful water sports paradises in Saxony, wide-open beaches, rental stations for all possible water sports activities, restaurants and maritime accommodation are already inspiring! Geierswalder See, Partwitzer See, Bärwalder See - in the heart of Lusatia, where lignite excavators once dug deep into the earth, a huge water landscape with 21 new lakes is being created. In Leipzig's Neuseenland, for example, instead of open-cast mines, you will find the longest sandy beach in Saxony at Cospudener See. At Camp David Sport Resort on Schladitzer See, everyone from families with children to competitive athletes will get their money's worth on and around the water. Tip: If you want to get the most out of water sports, try out the artificial white-water canoeing, kayaking and stand-up paddling trails at Kanupark Markkleeberg.
