A few steps from La Seu Cathedral, you will find the Palau Reial de L'Almudaina with its eponymous museum.

Originally built as an official residence by the Arab rulers, King James II had the Moorish palace rebuilt and the original architecture disappeared. The spacious building with its precious tapestries and paintings is only partially accessible to the public; the Spanish king still resides here on official occasions.

Surrounding the Palau Reial is a garden worth seeing with water features and modern sculptures, the S'Hort del Rei.
