Kisfaludy promenade (high beach), Balatonakarattya
The eastern basin of Lake Balaton is dominated by steeply sloping, high banks with stunning views of the lake. The most scenic stretch of coastline can be found in Balatonakaratty, from where you can enjoy the lake in a longitudinal view.
The characteristic, steep coastline is known in the local language as the "cliff wall", a crumbling, porous wall;zussága also refers to this, but in reality it only covers the upper part of the wall, which is about one centimetre long. The high shores bordering the eastern basin of Lake Balaton (from Fony to Tihany) are made up of the former Pannonian soil; Many of the shores are formed from the remains of the old shoals of the Balaton, many of which have been cut down by the unregulated Balaton river and the many slides.
On the eastern shore of Lake Balaton, the highest point of the lake is 30 m above the shore, below which there is only a narrow plain; There is only a narrow strip of beach left for holiday homes, beaches and iron ponds, but the settlements themselves are on top.
The high banks of Lake Balaton-Vilacute;gos (Balatonaliga) are also very open, with many well-established beaches, but the Kisfaludy beach in Balatonakarattyai is probably the most outstanding of the high banks. Since we are right on the eastern shore of Lake Balaton, the seemingly endless waters of the lake stretch for miles below us;We can also see the shores of the Balaton from the island of Tihany to the island of Tihany. In clear weather, you can even see the top of Badacsony. It is very exciting to come here at different times of the day, or to visit the beach in different seasons;A summer sunset from the high coast is the kind of beauty of the place that has to be seen sometime.
A kilometer long, on a gravel beach and the adjacent hillside, with a wide terrace; On the high shore, you can observe the ever-changing colours of Lake Balaton, with its shimmering, blue, green, dark, dark, dark, colourful and colourful shades. From the détány déli végég, you can walk down a steep slope to the beach from the covered pier next to the Kisfaludy kilátókéként.
