Embark on a Gravel adventure in the heart of the Basses Vallées Angevines! Departing from Angers, this 109km Gravel route allows you to discover the region along the rivers, in bikepacking mode and over 2 or 3 days.
Along the way, take in the panoramic views over the Maine and the historic centre of Angers, ride along the Île Saint-Aubin formed by the Vielle Maine, the Sarthe and the Mayenne, follow theVélo Francette and the banks of the Mayenne, pass in front of the Roussière lock, stop off to visit the Château du Plessis-Bourré, take a break at the guinguette Le Kivivon the banks of the Sarthe, enjoy the banks of the Loir while winding your way through the Boudré forest, take a refreshing dip in Villevêque, discover the Engrenage-Moulin in Villevêqueque, explore the meadows and wetlands of the Basses Vallées Angevines or cross the Ardoisières park, the former site of the region's famous slate quarry.
