The Loire à vélo is one of the most beautiful cycle routes in France (EuroVelo 6). With almost 900 kilometres of cycle routes, you can cycle along the majestic Loire River, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For cycling enthusiasts, the stopover in Angers promises some great cycling along the Loire. Along the way, you can stop off at Ile Béhuard, the only river island that is also a commune.
