FFC cycling circuit no. 1: Tour du Cap Ferrat
Set off to discover Cap-Ferrat, on a quiet road surrounded by the most beautiful residences on the Côte d'Azur and the magnificent setting of the Cap-Ferrat peninsula.
A short diversions to the lighthouse at the southern end of the peninsula marks the entrance to the Villefranche roadstead. The port centre of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat is also worth a visit, making it an unforgettable stopover.
Also worth a visit on the way back is the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, one of the most beautiful Renaissance-style palaces on the Côte d'Azur, built on a summit of the peninsula between 1905 and 1912 by Baroness Béatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild. The museum gives a particularly vivid idea of what it was like to live in the home of a great art lover of the Belle Époque, who showed a particular attraction for the eighteenth century. The museum, which is open to the public every day, is one of the most visited sites between Nice and Menton.

THE RIGHT REFLEXES FOR RIDING IN A GROUP
-Riding two abreast is permitted, but you must keep to a single lane:

- when a vehicle wishing to overtake announces its approach
- At stop signs, yellow lights and fixed or flashing red lights, bring the whole group to a complete stop.
- Communicate within the group and use verbal language and body language to signal an obstacle or a vehicle. A simple gesture or word is all it takes to avoid a fall or an accident.
