On Thursday, October 29, The Peninsula All-Suite Hotel welcomes Landskroon Wines for the latest of the hotel’s popular monthly Wine & Dine evenings at the poolside Sunset Restaurant, the perfect setting for a relaxed summer gathering.
The hotel’s, executive chef Hajierah Hamit, has again used her extensive experience to plan a decadent five-star set menu, each course specially prepared and partnered with a complementing Landskroon wine.
To complement the craft and dedication which has made Landskroon Wines a success in the industry, chef Hajierah’s menu will start with spicy prawn ceviche with garlic brochette. For an intermediate dish, guests can look forward to ale-infused chicken lollies with wasabi tartar.
To ensure guest enjoy the full flavour profile of the wines on offer, a palate cleanser of pina colada sorbet will be served before moving on to the main course: Pan-seared Norwegian salmon with pulled pork croquettes and summer greens.
To end off the evening, guests will be treated to a Sweet dessert bouquet designed to enrich the vibrant flavours of the Landskroon offering.
“I have taken the time to learn the distinct aromas, blends and flavours of the Landskroon wines featured at this month’s Wine & Dine evening, and have experimented with a variety of recipes to produce the best possible dishes to complement their unique tastes,” said Hamit.
