Explore Cape Town on foot

When have you done a nice walk by foot in Cape Town´s city bowl the last time?

If it was last time with the Worldcup 2010, then I have a recommendation for you. Walk the fanwalk again, you will be surprised how much has changed.

The “Neue Züricher Zeitung“, a very well reknown Swiss newspaper, had recently an article saying that Cape Town is becoming a city for pedestrians and they are right.

This week I walked from our office in Loop Street to the Cape Royale Hotel. First place to recommend is the Marcelino’s bakery (http://www.marcelinothebakery.com/). Actually it is just opposite of our office.

Despite the Italian name it is very German, so the bread is very good and the have great cakes and pastry. Continue Reading …
