Struik Travel & Heritage invites to join John Muir on a historical walk around part of the Alfred Basin (the other side of the V&A Waterfront) to celebrate the launch of:

Walking Cape Town – urban walks and drives in the Cape Peninsula

The tour will take in a variety of sites including the spot where Prince Alfred tipped the first load of stones to create the breakwater; the entrance to the Alfred Basin, known as the ‘Cut’; the site of the original Penny Ferry; the Clock Tower; the Chavonnes Battery; the Robinson graving dock; the old power station; Nobel Square; and the Times Ball Tower.

The tour will conclude with refreshments at the Ferryman’s Tavern.
